Due to the ethical nature of testing elective cosmetic treatments on women who are pregnant, studies have not been completed on the use of these products during pregnancy. We recommend you talk to your maternity care provider.

Injections of neuromodulators are a very quick poke with a small needle. Everybody experiences it a little differently. Some clients report very mild discomfort that is over very quickly, while others find it pain-free.

When injecting with dermal fillers we numb the skin with prescription level topical anesthetic. Dermal fillers are also formulated with anesthetic in the gel in order to improve the client experience. Most feel mild discomfort during the procedure but we do our best to make you comfortable.

Cosmetic injections can be completed during your break from work. There is generally no recovery time after neuromodulator injections and you can continue your day as normal.

Dermal filler injections do cause some mild to moderate swelling depending on the site of injection. Most of the swelling is gone in the first 3-4 days, but bruising may remain for up to two weeks.

We recommend planning 4-6 weeks ahead of an important event to allow for healing and bruising to disappear.

Yes. There are things that your can do prior to your appointment to minimize the risk of bruising and swelling. There are also things to consider after your treatment to optimize healing for the best results. You can find these recommendations in the tab marked "Pre-care / After - care".
